Occupied resource villages are not to be captured.
Just as with outposts, food villages are prized above their others because they allow you to hold much higher numbers of troops. Unoccupied villages are extremely hard to come by, and if you find them at all, they’re typically located on the very far outskirts of the map where the territory does not have many users’ castles. Finding a resource village is extremely difficult, and they become more and more rare in each kingdom as you progress.
